EAST COAST SAILING

Hi, I’m Rob. I started EAST COAST SAILING a year ago through my love of Sailing and setting up a Youtube Channel. And what a rollercoaster it’s been, some seriously late nights working away, and the doors that have been opened. My only wish is i did this 10 years ago. My initial aim was to try and attract younger people into the sport, build a social network locally, as none of my friends are into sailing. The aim was to show uncut aspects of sailing in the UK, relentless weather, strong tides, historic structures & amazing adventures and places to visit. I also do a lot of repair & maintenance videos. I had no one to show me the ropes. With 10 years of boat ownership, there isn’t a job i haven’t done and I had to share this knowledge.

Im from a construction background I had to start from scratch. After chucking myself in the deep end, having to learn how to edit videos and do graphic design, it seemed natural to add some clothing apparel as my skills improved and the subscriber numbers increased.

The clothing is 100% designed by me. The company slogan is - Designed by sailors, inspired by the sea. I personally guarantee that 5% of the profits from clothing sales will be donated to the RNLI (the UK's voluntary life boat service) to support the amazing work they do.

The remaining profit will be used to support the Youtube Channel for camera equipment and my round the world adventure in a few years.
